Gaza Association Australia (GAA), established in 2013, is a community-focused, non-profit organisations committed to preserving Palestinian culture, supporting local families and strengthening community connections. Through cultural keeping events, social and sports activities, leading and collaborating on many multicultural programs that support community strengthening and cohesion with the broader Australian society.

Our Objective
The association’s objective is to pursue charitable purposes to provide relief from suffering, misfortune, distress, poverty, helplessness, and/or destitution experienced by affected Palestinians, including through the following activities:
- Providing social, health, educational, and other forms of support and opportunities, including settlement assistance, to affected Palestinians.
- Assisting affected Palestinians in accessing food, housing, healthcare, and other basic needs.
- Raising awareness about the humanitarian situation in Palestine and advocating for the rights and welfare of affected Palestinians.
- Conducting fundraising activities and coordinating charitable efforts to deliver relief and ongoing support to affected Palestinians.
- Undertaking all other actions that may be incidental or ancillary to achieving the above objectives.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support affected Palestinians living in Australia by providing access to essential services, including food, healthcare, education, settlement assistance, and community integration and cohesion . We work to relieve hardship, promote wellbeing, and create opportunities for individuals and families to rebuild their lives. We are committed to raising awareness of their challenges, advocating for their rights and welfare, and mobilising community resources to deliver meaningful, compassionate, and practical support.
Board Members
Gaza Association Australia is led by an elected, dedicated team of volunteers of Gazan origin.
Together, they work to strengthen community cohesion, preserve cultural identity, and support the well-being of the Gazan community and Palestinians in general across NSW, AUSTRALIA.
President
Provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and representation for the Association. Oversees major initiatives, builds partnerships, and ensures strong advocacy for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Vice President
Supports the President in guiding the organisation, coordinates major projects, and strengthens internal and external community engagement. Acts on behalf of the President when needed to ensure continuity for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Public Officer
Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manages official documentation and maintains communication with government bodies to uphold governance standards for the benefit of the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Secretary
Manages administrative operations, prepares agendas and minutes, maintains records, and facilitates clear and organised communication across the organisation, supporting services for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Treasurer
Overseas financial management, budgeting, reporting, and expenditure monitoring. Ensures transparency and accountability across all financial processes that support programs and initiatives benefitingfor the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Grant Officer
Identifies and manages grant opportunities. Leads applications, reporting, and compliance to secure resources that support programs and services for for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Sport Committee Officer
Develops, coordinates, and delivers sports and recreational programs that support physical wellbeing while strengthening community cohesion and social integration. Works with youth and families for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
Cultural Committee Officer
Leads cultural initiatives that celebrate Gazan heritage and strengthen cultural identity within the Gazan community and among Palestinians in general. Coordinates the Association’s Dabkah group and organises cultural events, workshops, and activities that preserve tradition, encourage participation, and promote Community cohesion and social integration.
Communication Officer
Manages the organisation’s communications across the website and social media platforms. Ensures consistent messaging, promotes events, and enhances visibility for programs and services that support for the Gazan community and the broader Palestinian community those who reside in NSW Australia
