On Friday, March 6, 2026, the Gaza Australia Association hosted a special Iftar dinner in Summerland Bankstown to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
The gathering brought together members of the Palestinian community and their families, former board members, and representatives from various charitable, governmental, and non-governmental organisations. We were honored to have Hon Ed Husic MP.
Special thanks for the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs, which helped us to hold this event.
The evening was filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where guests shared delicious food، meaningful moments of connection and the special show from our GAA distinguished Dabke team. This blessed month of Ramadan reminds us of the values of goodness, mercy, and love, which were beautifully reflected throughout the night. The event highlighted the strong unity and genuine relationships within our community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening so special, helping strengthen the spirit of togetherness and lasting community bonds.
