Today, Gaza Association Australia joins the nation in solemn remembrance of ANZAC Day, honouring the extraordinary service and sacrifice of the men and women of the Australian and New Zealand Armed Forces.
On this day, we pause to reflect on the courage, resilience, and dedication of those who served particularly the ANZACs who first landed on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915 and of all who have worn the uniform in the years since.
As a Palestinian organization committed to compassion, community, and peace, we at Gaza Association Australia recognise the deep significance of ANZAC Day for all Australians. It is a time to honour not only military history but also the enduring values of mateship, sacrifice, and resilience that continue to shape our shared identity.
We extend our deepest respect and gratitude to all veterans and their families. Their legacy continues to inspire future generations to strive for a world grounded in justice, dignity, and mutual respect.
